At 16:00 on February 25, 2021, the sign of the National Administration of Rural Revitalization (NRV) was officially hung up at No. 1 Taiyanggong North Street, Chaoyang District, Beijing. The sign of the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alrelief and Development had been removed.

As the deliberation and coordination body of the State Council, the Leading Group for Poverty Alleviation and Development of the State Council was established on May 16, 1986, then known as the Leading Group for Economic Development of Poverty-stricken Areas of the State Council, and changed its present name on December 28, 1993. The State Council Leading Group Office for Poverty Alleviation and Development is responsible for the daily work of the Leading Group.

The official launch of the National Administration of Rural Revitalization is not only a symbol of China's overall victory in the battle against poverty, but also a starting point for the full implementation of rural revitalization and a new life and new struggle.
